Glucophage(Metformin) reduce hunger

Metformin, sold under the trade name Glucophage, is used to treat diabetes mellitus (sugar diabetes) called type 2 diabetes, but recent studies show that it also helps non-diabetics to lose weight by reducing hunger. Most obese patients are insulin resistant, and increasingly the type-2 diabetes medication metformin is being prescribed to increase glucose sensitivity and promote weight loss process.
